Ministries we are establishing now:

1. Deacons Ministry  (S.W.A.T.S.)
2. Deaconess Ministry
(S.W.A.T. - Servants Working At Taking care of sheep) – This is an elite group chosen by the congregation. (Acts 6)  This ministry is dedicated to being servants and extending the love of Christ to the members of our church fellowship.  The S.W.A.T.S. Ministry is responsible for making regular contact with assigned members in certain areas to make sure the church is meeting the needs of the fellowship.  The husband and wife will be assigned an area code to provide coverage to.  This ministry is to provide support to members in seasons of bereavement, crisis and sickness.  (See Acts 6:1-4 & II Timothy 3)      

3. The Timothy Ministry (Minister’s Fellowship) - This is an elite group of men who are only inducted by a “call” from God.  Before officially joining this fellowship, they must present two-three private sermons before the pastor and a small group and an initial public sermon.  These men are expected to exhibit exemplary behavior and Christian service.  To maintain active duty with the group, regular church attendance is mandatory.  Each member of this group will also be assigned spiritual “advisor ship” over a secondary ministry.  The group will meet twice a month.

4. S.S.U.G.A.R. (Sisters Submitting Unto God and the Reverend) (Minister’s Wives Fellowship) – This ministry is designed to help preacher’s wives deal with the God given task of ministering to the minister.  This group is dedicated to good works and to helping maintain the outreach ministry mindedness of the church.  This ministry is obviously an elite group and has certain requirements.  The group should meet twice a month.

6. M.A.C.K. Ministry (M.A.C.K. – Men Active in Christ’s Kingdom) - This ministry is dedicated to the fellowship and nurturing of Christian men.  This group will be driven by Bible study, prayer, and fellowship in pursuit to develop in relationship with God.  Every man of the church (18+) is automatically a member of the M.A.C.K. Ministry, but the objective of the M.A.C.K. Ministry is to make sure these men are active members of the Ministry.  The ministry will inspire and encourage leadership, responsibility, family, spiritual growth, etc… 

7. D.I.V.A. Ministry (D.I.V.A. – Daughters of Integrity, Virtue and Anointing) – This ministry is dedicated to the fellowship and nurturing of Christian women.  This group will be driven by Bible study, prayer, and fellowship in pursuit to develop women in their relationship with God.  Every woman of the church (18 yrs.+) is automatically a member of the D.I.V.A. Ministry, but the objective of the D.I.V.A. Ministry is to make sure these women are active members of the D.I.V.A. Ministry.  The ministry will inspire and encourage leadership, responsibility, family, spiritual growth, etc…

8. Y.U.N.G. (Young People Under the Navigation of God) Youth and Young Adult Ministry (ages 4-17 & 18-35) (Y.A.Y.A - includes: student ministries, outreach, education, Church School, mentoring and college outreach) –This ministry is perhaps one of the most important ministries of the church because it is the seed of the church for tomorrow.  This ministry is devoted to the development, encouragement and fellowship of youth and young adults.  The purpose of the ministry is to promote fellowship, spiritual growth (discipleship), secular survival/success, mentorship and evangelism.  The ministry will meet every week.

9. P.E.W. (Perfecting Excellent Worship) Worship Ministry (Music, Ushers, Nurses, Hospitality & Media) –This ministry is extremely important to the growth of our church.  This ministry is obviously one of the most visible parts of our family.  They are responsible for making sure our worship experiences are powerful, Spirit lead, organized, appealing, decently and in order.  (See also AV and Sanctuary Servants Ministries)

                *Sanctuary Servants Ministry (ushers, nurses and greeters)
                *Media Team (sound production, taping [video/audio],
                 worship monitors]

10. Prayer Team –This is perhaps one of the most important ministries in our church fellowship.  This is a group dedicated to continual prayer for our church family, community, country, and so on.  This ministry will meet once a week to pray on behalf of certain items: the Pastor and family, the church staff, the church’s mission, the newer members, the community, the schools, etc…  The Prayer team would also be responsible for gathering prior to worship to cover our worship experiences, church family and sanctuary in prayer.

11. Nu LIFE Team (Delivery Room workers, Nu Life Counselors, New Member contacts, Assimilation) - This team is responsible for the overall intake and assimilation of new members.  These team members will stand during the invitation to Christ and serve as welcoming agents to those trying to make a decision.  The team members will take seekers to the “Delivery Room” and walk them through the appropriate steps while getting the necessary info. (ie., prayer, new Christian, new membership, Temporary care, faith counseling, etc…)  This ministry is also responsible for “tracking” new members until they are actively involved in some other ministry as to not lose them or allow people to “fall through our cracks.”

12. Business Team –The business team is responsible for one of the vital components of church life – MONEY.  The Business team will be comprised of individuals who have experience in accounting and banking and will be responsible for making sure we are handling our business properly as it pertains to our financial resources.  The finance team will be responsible for counting, depositing, documenting and reporting church profit and loss.  This team will take care of our tax information and keep us in proper standing.  This team will manage all business transactions to assure we are handling business matters in a Christian yet professional manner.  This team MUST be made up of members who are of good reputation and trustworthy.

13. Perfecting Church Team - This team will serve as an essential part of our church government and administration. The team may also be understood as a board of directors. In tandem with the Lead Pastor and Deacons, these selected individuals will make decisions about Church spending, missions, business ventures, administration, etc... The purpose of this group is to keep our church organization moving smoothly and achieving our mission and vision.
